Associate Attorney Charles Antonelli II

Charles J. Antonelli II is an Associate of Weiss-Kunz & Oliver, LLC, who’s competitive nature and commitment to his clients in difficult situations has made him a fierce advocate in family law. He joined the Firm in 2024 after previously clerking for a Civil Rights firm. While working toward his law degree at Loyola University (Chicago) School of Law, Charles concentrated his studies on prison and police reform, with the goal of creating more equitable systems that are aimed at promoting justice; it was only natural, from his background, that he would make his way into Family Law when he began practicing.

Charles has been described as a zealous advocate who believes that there is a silver lining to every situation. He works diligently to ensure that each strategy and action taken in his practice of matrimonial law is carefully tailored to the unique circumstances of each individual case. His experience in complex litigation, and the preparation that comes in the preceding months before a trial, are what allows him to excel in highly contentious divorce and custody cases.

Prior to his work in the legal field, Charles received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Michigan. Charles was a member of the Michigan Football coaching staff from 2017-2019 and his ability to connect with and recruit people from every walk of life propelled him to a career advocating for families in need. He has experience identifying and handling situations where severe mental health issues are involved, and as a trauma-informed attorney, he is a calming presence when guiding clients through the storm.

In his free time, Charles enjoys the outdoors with his fiancée and two dogs, playing chess, and writing.
